Marg our words — San Antonio’s bar scene is always hoppening. So when we released our guide on 19 happy hours in San Antonio back in August, that was only the beginning of an ever-evolving beer, wine, and spirits list.
Here are five additional sip-worthy spots you’ll want to check out after work:
The Hayden | Daily, 3-6 p.m. | You can’t go wrong with a classic cocktail or $5 draft beers.
Sangria on the Burg | Daily 3-6 p.m., Friday + Saturday 9-10 p.m. | Grab a sangria flight (or two) and your choice of $5 frozen margaritas.
Be Kind & Rewind | Daily, 4-7 p.m. | Kick it with a coworker like it’s the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s again.
Maverick Texas Brasserie | Daily, 4-6 p.m. | Enjoy this restaurant’s version of happy hour, called Violet Hour, with Crispy Frites and a glass of the House Red.
This weekend was a busy one. From dinner with friends, to watching the annular eclipse downtown, meeting my best friend’s baby boy for the first time, and taking a day trip to Fredericksburg with mom yesterday, I am completely exhausted. I did, however, create the best memories and my heart is so full.
