Animal Care Services and SA Pets Alive! host Empty the Shelters event

Have you been wanting to add a furry member to your family? San Antonio Animal Care Services (SAACS) and San Antonio Pets Alive! (SAPA!) are hosting an adoption event — Empty the Shelters — sponsored by the BISSELL Pet Foundation. This event — happening across 44 states — aims to save the lives of shelter pets through placement and ease overcrowded facilities.
For every pet SAACS + SAPA! can place with a furever family, the foundation will provide donations to each organization. The funds go right back into helping more animals.
Adoptions include dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens
Happening through Monday, July 31
All adoptions are first come, first served, and SAACS + SAPA! processes and policies apply. All pets adopted from these organizations are sterilized, vaccinated (first round of shots), and are microchipped with a free lifetime registration.
Has anyone gotten their hands on a Wemby jersey? I saw on Draft Night, fans who attended the Spurs’ official draft party at the AT&T Center were able to purchase them. My sister’s birthday is next week and she’s a huge Spurs fan. I’m thinking about getting her one if they’re not too hard to get a hold of. I know she’ll love it.
The best part — as her little sister — I get to borrow it.
