When you were a kid, did you have a inside voice say “I’m not a math person” or “I can’t do science?” The DoSeum hopes to silence that negative voice with its latest summer exhibit, “Dream Tomorrow Today.”
This exhibit aims to empower kids of all backgrounds to pursue Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) related fields, and to demystify and make them more accessible. The exhibition invites individuals of all ages to see their impact on the world through STEM related activities.
Here’s what guests can expect:
Opens tomorrow (Saturday, June 10) and runs through Sunday, September 24
Interactive and hands-on activities
Yellow wristbands to track your progress, scan them to score points.
Augmented reality activities
The DoSeum is located at 2800 Broadway and is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sunday from 12-5 p.m.
I’ll tell you what, having the privilege to experience the DoSeum’s latest exhibit was one I won’t forget. This was the first time I had ever been to the museum and was blown away by all of the activities they had. Plus, I found myself bopping my head to the music.
Younger me would’ve spent hours roaming through the various exhibits. City Editor Adriana found me invested in the MakerSpace and the augmented reality showcases.
