  • San Antonio Brahmas running back, Jacques Patrick, will attend the Denver Broncos minicamp. Patrick accepted the invitation from the Broncos after ranking second in rushing yards and led all running backs in receiving yards during the XFL 2023 season. He’s planning on joining the minicamp next week. (SI)
  • The Valero Alamo Bowl has tapped Ryan Smith to be the new chairman of its board of directors. Smith — co-founder and CEO of Weston Urban — will oversee the 2023 bowl game and events. He is also one of the newest owners of the San Antonio Missions Baseball team. (SA Business Journal)

  • The former home of San Antonio Spurs Coach Gregg Poppovich is back on the market. The 9,600-sqft home sold by Pop in October 2020, is currently on the market for $5.5 million. The house is a 4 BD, 5.5 BA — and also has a swimming pool two-story living room, and a wine cellar. (SA Current)

  • The Texas Vista Medical Center closed its doors earlier this week after 40 years of service to the San Antonio South Side community. The 327-bed facility community offered OBGYN, mental health, and emergency services to patients low income families. Mission Trail Baptist Hospital is now the only hospital serving the South Side. (SA Express News)

  • It’s morphin’ time. Power Rangers Power Up Training Camp is coming to The Shops of La Cantera Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7. The event will have four shows starting at 11 a.m. both days. Stay after each performance for a chance to meet the Yellow or Blue Power Rangers. (MySA)

  • During Military Appreciation Month, SeaWorld San Antonio will offer free admission to military veterans, retirees, honorably separated officers, and their families. The offer is valid for one day between Tuesday, May 14 to Friday, June 9. (KSAT 12)

  • Are you active on the Acequia Trail by Mission Road? The San Antonio River Authority warns bees are exiting from the ground at the edge of the trail. Its park crew will be working on relocating these nests in the next few days to ensure trailgoers are safe.

In a rush? They also have drive-thru’s. HTeaO has five locations and one mobile truck in the San Antonio area.
