We’re always down to pick up a warm cookie from Texas Cookie Shop. | Photo by @texascookieshop
It’s Wednesday. It’s already felt like a long week, and you work hard. We here at SATXtoday think that’s worthy of celebration, and vehemently believe you deserve a cookie.
Let’s be real, that phrase usually comes off as fairly patronizing — but cookies are delicious and are a wonderfully simple way to treat yourself. Finding the perfect cookie can be an entirely different adventure though, and that’s where we come in.
Check out five cookie spots we think are pretty sweet:
Texas Cookie Shop, 20210 Stone Oak Pkwy. With a flavor selection that rotates weekly, you’ll never grow tired of this shop’s cookies. Some of our favorites include the M&M, cinnamon churro, and lemon poppyseed.
Lily’s Cookies, 2716 McCullough Ave. This local bakery offers a cookie for every occasion. From classic favorites like chocolate chip and peanut butter to massive monster cookies and intricately iced sugar cookies, there’s no shortage of treats to try.
Crumbl Cookies, Quarry, 255 E. Basse Rd. This Utah-based chain has 600+ locations nationwide. Crumbl’s flavors rotate seasonally, and we always love when the key lime pie cookie makes an appearance on the menu.
Tiff’s Treats Cookie Delivery, Multiple locations In addition to a selection of warm cookies that are baked fresh daily, this bakery offers brownies, cookie ice cream sandwiches, and cookie truffles. Tiff’s also offers catering for large events, party packs, and special occasion boxes.
Celestial Sweets Custom Cookies, Order online Looking for custom cookies? Celestial Sweets has got you covered. The locally owned bakery makes custom sugar cookies featuring detailed icing designs for all occasions. These Squishmallow-themed cookies and vibrant 90s-inspired treats are some of our favorites.
