Marg our words — San Antonian’s bar scene is always hoppening. So when we released our guide on 12 happy hours in San Antonio back in July, that was only the beginning of an ever-evolving beer, wine, and spirits list.

Here are four additional sip-worthy spots you’ll want to check out after work:

🍺 The Hayden | Daily, 3-6 p.m. | You can’t go wrong with a classic cocktail or $5 draft beers.

🍷 Sangria on the Burg | Daily 3-6 p.m., Friday + Saturday 9-10 p.m. | Grab a sangria flight or your choice of $5 frozen margs.

🍹 Be Kind & Rewind | Daily, 4-7 p.m. | Kick it with a coworker like it’s the 80s, 90s, and 2000s again.

🥃 Bakudan | Daily, 3-6 p.m. | Treat yourself to $4 hot sake or $3 draft beer.

And if you’re a regular happy hour goer, test your after-hours drinking knowledge with a short quiz.

THE WRAP

Today’s issue was written by Iván.

Editor’s pick: Speaking of happy hours... I’ve mentioned before that one of my favorite things to do is visit Nowhere Bookshop Café right around the end of the workday for some discounted beverages (perhaps a glass of red) and good company.

I’ve never failed to make a new friend from just spending a couple of hours reading at the coffee bar. In fact, I even wound up meeting someone from my hometown earlier this week whose brother I knew growing up. Talk about a small world.
