We are less than a week away from the biggest party of the year. Earlier this week, we sent out a teaser about the creation of our very first Fiesta medal.
Drum roll please... it’s finally time to unveil our inaugural Fiesta Medal. We are excited to finally share this project with our fellow readers and future subscribers. So how can you get your hands on this limited-edition medal? Let’s spill the details.
So, why a Fiesta medal?
The origins of Fiesta can be traced back to 1891, while SATXtoday has only been around since 2022, we thought it was time to join the rest of the 210 in this celebration.
The design of the medal was crafted in-house — thank you 6AM City graphic designers — and features our logo with a wreath of the Mexican crepe paper flowers around the border to give it that puro San Antonio touch.
Giveaway spots + rules
Now onto the fun part, the giveaways. We only have a limited amount of medals to give out this year. The SATXtoday team picked three locations around the Alamo City and here’s where you can find us:
