Centro San Antonio is partnering with the Texas American Society of Landscape Architects, 80/20 Foundation, and the San Antonio Chapter of the American Institute of Architects to celebrate National Park(ing) Day on Friday, Sept. 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

What is National Park(ing) Day?

We’re so glad you asked. This one-day-only international event allows local businesses to convert city streets + parking spaces into vibrant green places for art, play, and community engagement.

This year’s theme is pollinators (birds, bats, bees, butterflies, and other insects) and will occur along Houston Street (from Alamo to Flores) and North Main (from Houston to Travis) in downtown San Antonio.
