The Little Runner shuttle service now provides free rides to everyone around the downtown area.

You may have seen an increase of free shuttle services around downtown San Antonio — the super convenient way to get around traffic and ongoing construction.

We’re here to put you onto a free shuttle service that has recently expanded thanks to Centro San Antonio, UTSA, VIA Metropolitan Transit, and eCab North America (eCab). Announced today the with the approval of permits, comes the authorization of free public use of the Little Runner shuttle service.

Little Runner explained

Originally, this pilot program launched in early March as a UTSA student-focused program, providing over 2,000 rides to over 4,000 passengers. Now, all San Antonians and visitors can partake in the experience throughout downtown.

Where exactly does the shuttle run? The courtesy shuttles aim to provide transportation options within the downtown core and the Public Improvement District boundaries. This area was chosen due to is high commute times for students, the downtown community, and summer visitors.

Catch a ride Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
