Alamo Colleges expands its AlamoU Bachelor’s Programs

Learn about the expansion of the AlamoU Bachelor’s Program at the Alamo Colleges District.

This week, the Alamo Colleges District announced its AlamoU Bachelor’s Programs is now available across all five colleges: San Antonio College, Palo Alto College, St. Philip’s College, Northwest Vista College, and Northeast Lakeview College.

So, what is this program? The AlamoU Bachelor’s Programs gives students who attend these community colleges (traditionally two years) the opportunity to receive four year degrees. This change is in response to the high demands of various industries like nursing, operations management, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.

“By offering bachelor degrees, we aim to empower our students to thrive in competitive job markets and make meaningful contributions to their respective fields.” said Dr. Mike Flores, Alamo Colleges District Chancellor.
