The San Antonio Parks and Recreation department announced they are extending the seasonal pool schedule for nine of the city’s outdoor pools through Sunday, September 24.
“Extended Pool Seasons continue to be a part of our aquatics operations each year,” said Homer Garcia III , Director of Parks and Recreation. “We know that our community needs places to stay cool, even as many in our city return back to school and college.”
Here are the nine pools that will remain open on the weekends:
- Cuellar, 502 S.W. 36th St. | Saturday-Sunday, 1-8 p.m.
- Heritage, 1423 S Ellison Dr. | Saturday-Sunday, 1-8 p.m.
- LBJ, 0700 Nacogdoches Rd. | Saturday-Sunday, 1-8 p.m.
- Lincoln, 2803 E. Commerce | Saturday-Sunday, 1-8 p.m.
- Normoyle, 700 Culberson | Saturday-Sunday, 1-8 p.m.
- Roosevelt, 330 Roosevelt | Saturday-Sunday, 1-8 p.m.
- San Pedro, 2200 N. Flores | Saturday-Sunday, 1-8 p.m.
- Southside Lions, 3100 Hiawatha | Saturday-Sunday, 1-8 p.m.
- Woodlawn, 221 Alexander Ave. | Saturday-Sunday, 1-8 p.m.
In addition to weekend hours, Roosevelt Pool and Woodlawn Lake Pool will also be open on select weekday evenings.
