It’s time for the three Bs: Brats, beer, and baseball. This baseball season is packed full of games and events. With fun initiatives like giveaways and themed nights, the spring + summer months are heating up for the San Antonio Missions.

About the team

The Missions made their major league debut in 1888. Once the Austin Senators, the team moved to San Antonio and then changed their name to the Cowboys. The team has changed their name six times before settling on the Missions and is the oldest sports franchise in the city.

Today, the team plays at the Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium (also known as “The Wolff”) just west of downtown. Fun fact: The stadium opened on April 18, 1994 as the San Antonio Municipal Stadium. See the stadium guide.

Upcoming games

On Friday, April 5 we’ll be defending our home turf against the NW Arkansas Naturals at 7:05 p.m. Grab your tickets now and the first 1,500 fans will receive a limited-edition Missions-themed thermal mug.
