The Hayden will brings its South Texas diner with an old school Jewish delicatessen soul to the Alon Market shopping center in the spring at 10003 NW Military Hwy.

The Alamo Heights diner has become an instant classic since opening its doors in 2020.

The eatery’s new location will offer the same inventive menu — from classic New York City deli dishes to funky Jewish mashups like a chicken + potato latke waffle.

You can expect:

  • A casual atmosphere that’s light and airy
  • Old-school diner bar stools, booths + a forest of houseplants
  • The same breakfast, lunch, dinner, and classy cocktails options

While you may start seeing signage around, construction is still underway. Fret not — You can get a taste of the vibes by checking out its original spot at 4025 Broadway St.

Complete details for the grand opening are soon to come. Follow the restaurant’s website + social media for updated information and employment opportunities.
