Soccer lovers, unite. In case you missed it, the FIFA World Cup will host matches in Dallas next year from Thursday, June 11 to Sunday, July 19.

Snagging tickets can be a little tricky for those who haven’t done it before. Without further ado, here’s how to get your own in five easy steps.

Register interest online

Your first stop is to go to the official FIFA site and formally register your interest in tickets. That way, you’ll receive updates on all parts of the sales process.

Obtain a FIFA ID

To create your own FIFA ID, you’ll visit FIFA.com/tickets. At the top right corner of the page, you’ll want to click on the “person” icon and then “SIGN UP.” Safely enter the personal details requested, create a unique and secure password, and agree to conditions.

Watch for the first draw

The first phase of ticket sales is decided by draw, so you’ll need to register and apply during this period. The first draw period will open Wednesday, Sept. 10.

Be mindful of sales phases and hospitality packages

According to FIFA’s own FAQs, there will be several phases of ticket sales so be sure to keep an eye out for opportunities to apply. Each phase could have different rules and regulations, according to the organization. And know that if selected by drawing for a chance to purchase tickets, you may also have the chance to purchase a hospitality suite starting at $1,350 a person.

Purchase through official channels only

FIFA is clear about one thing: you’ll want to purchase through official channels only. Don’t run the risk of being scammed or missing your opportunity.

The countdown to kick-off is on.
