What is the Headin’ Home Program?

This programs sends at-risk dogs + puppies to rescue partners in other parts of the US — even to other countries — where space is available. These are usually places like the Pacific Northwest, the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, Wisconsin and even Canada.

By partnering with other animal rescue organizations, it ensures these dogs find loving families and get a fresh start. Recently the organization added three new vehicles to its fleet:

  • Sprinter van (holds 35-40 crates)
  • Donated bus (holds 90 crates)
  • Smaller van (holds 25 crates)

The organization’s Headin’ Home Program transports dogs to rescue partners in other states where space is available.
