The results are in for the 2023 city election

The votes are in, San Antonio. You’ve done your civic duty and it’s time to welcome our city’s newest officials.

To recap: This year we cast votes to elect 10 city council members + our mayor, as well as share our thoughts on Proposition A.

Phyllis Viagran, City Council District 3

Adriana Rocha Garcia, City Council District 4

Teri Castillo, City Council District 5

Melissa Cabello Havrda, City Council District 6

Manny Pelaez, City Council District 8

John Courage, City Council District 9

Marc Whyte, City Council District 10

Runoff elections for City Council Districts one and seven will be held Saturday, June 10. Voters in District 1 will decide between Councilman Mario Bravo and Sukh Kaur. In District 7, voters will choose between Councilwoman Marina Alderete Gavito and Dan Rossiter.

Proposition A was rejected by voters with 72% of San Antonians voting against the proposition.
