While the weather has been wet the past few days, get ready for some serious sunshine over the weekend. We’re helping you plan two days worth of outdoor adventure with five San Antonio gems you must visit. Put your walking shoes on SA, we’re headed outside. 👟

🌤️ Japanese Tea Gardens

A Koi pond, 60-foot waterfall + a lush year-round garden. What’s not to love about this free picturesque park? Stop by this weekend with the entire family to meet Clifford the Big Red Dog from 1-3 p.m. Pro tip: Re-charge at the Jingu House Cafe with a selection of herbal teas, boba drinks, and traditional coffee too.

🌤️ Chicho Boys Fruit Market

Since 1995, this open-air produce market has been a San Antonio staple on the westside of town. Editor Rossi grew up going there every Sunday for their freshly cut fruit cups. You can snag 2 Ibs of Roma tomatoes for $1 or stock up on seasonal fruit like pumpkin, apples + pears. You can take a look at their weekend specials here.

🌤️ San Antonio Transportation Museum

Take a train ride on their working railroad and marvel at their collection of old vehicles + tractors dating back to the 1900s. Pro tip: Experience their Santa’s Railroad Wonderland event next month. Trust us, it’s magical.

🌤️ Traders Village

This open-air market boasts 1,000 vendors, 11 carnival rides, and a dinosaur museum. Sounds like a roaring good time for everyone. San Antonians have until the end of November to visit their annual corn maze which includes a 10-acre area with 3 trails of fall fun.

🌤️ Mission Marquee Plaza

Pack a blanket + lawn chair and end the day at this historic drive-in. You can watch Pixar’s “Soul” on Sat., Nov. 6 at 6 p.m. as part of their outdoor movie series.
