Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with dancing

Tobin Center’s Pachanga De San Patricio festival combines cultural influences to bring you the ultimate dance party.

Pachanga De San Patricio is back for another “FolkPunkRock” celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. This free festival will be on Saturday, March 18 at the Will Naylor Smith River Walk Plaza.

The festival features dance demonstrations of the 6:8 rhythm found in Veracruz’s Huapango, the western African wawa-nko, and the Irish jig. Check out the lineup:

All that dancing works up an appetite. Enjoy a “fabulously twisted menu” from Tobin’s Executive Chef, Armando Lopez. We’re excited about tamales poblano, potato pub nachos, and the selection of both Irish and Mexican drinks.
