As we approach one year since May 24, 2022 — when 21 people lost their lives at Robb Elementary in Uvalde — we wanted to shine a light on ways to continue supporting the Uvalde families and residents.

Here are five ways to keep showing your support for the Uvalde community.

The Makenna Elrod Seiler Foundation

This foundation was created in remembrance of Robb Elementary student Makenna Elord Selier and is dedicated to raising funds to provide scholarships for Senior High School students and Region 8 Seniors in the Uvalde community.

United with Uvalde

The fund created by United Ways of San Antonio and Bexar County supports the immediate and long-term mental health resources for Uvalde residents. United with Uvalde accepts online donations.

The Uvalde Strong Survivors Fund

The National Compassion Fund (the San Antonio Area Foundation’s national partner) and the local steering committee in Uvalde released funds to 448 individuals who affected by the tragedy. Donations are accepted online and via mail.

The Uvalde Foundation For Kids

This 501c(3) nonprofit organization was founded to create programs across the nation to help end violence on school campuses and communities. Tomorrow, the organization will honor the tragedy at Robb Elementary with a Walk for Uvalde in Temple, TX. RSVP to join the walk.

The Uvalde CISD Moving Forward Foundation

The charitable foundation was created by the Uvalde CISD to serve its community by collecting funds to support the construction of a new elementary school campus in the school district. Check out these three ways to support this organization.
