It doesn’t take a local to know that our city is widely known for being a top eatery destination.

Our foodie culture is second to none, so we’re highlighting some of the most prominent influencers making waves through the SATX food scene + their favorite hidden gems in the Alamo City.

Hola beautiful people! My name is Stephanie! I’m known for sharing happy stuff whilst serving up realness with my social media friends. I absolutely LOVE the food, culture, and sense of community in our amazing city! People really do go out of their way to make you feel welcomed!

Recommendation: My favorite place to enjoy a cocktail and food on the patio is Paloma Blanca!

Yo, yo, San Antone. My name is Angel, a.k.a Angel The Food Dude. I’m an East Coaster of Puerto Rican descent who made SA home almost three years ago on a whim. For us, the magic is in the people of this city. They are talented, hard-working, thoughtful, and beautiful. And when that mixes with an unparalleled love for food, you get what I think is America’s Top Food City.

Recommendation: A few of my favorite places are Sangría on the Burg, Smokey Boys BBQ, Eleanor 1909 Cheesesteaks, and Alamo Biscuit Co.

🍴 @being20something (second from bottom left)

Hello San Antonio! My name is Melissa. I previously lived in Laredo before moving to the beautiful city of San Antonio in 2015 and have called this place my home ever since. One of my favorite things about San Antonio is how diverse and culturally rich the city is.

Recommendation: My current favorite place to grab dinner is Sangria on the Burg (try the Chef’s Brisket Nachos and the Sangria flight).

🍴 @feedsthebexar (second from top left)

Hello San Antonio! Many of you all know me on Instagram but my real name is Jason! I have had the pleasure of “feeding” up some delicious content for this wonderful city for the past four-ish years!

Recommendation: San Antonio has no shortage of amazing culinary options, whether that’s a smashburger from Last Place burgers, oysters at Little Em’s, a filet at Upscale, a Zombie from Hugman’s Oasis, or a jungle bird from Bar Loretta.

🍴 @alamofoodie (bottom middle)

Hello San Antonio! My name is Jennifer. I grew up as an Air Force brat but got to Texas as soon as I could! One of my favorite things about the city is the authenticity and deeply ingrained culture of diversity and vibrant Mexican heritage.

Recommendation: My favorite date spot in town is La Frite! Get the mussels but ask for the secret off the menu Hondo sauce!

🍴 @FeedCassie (top right)

Hey hey SA! My name is Cassie. I’ve called San Antonio home for 15+ years. One of my favorite things about the city is the sense of community! We value community over competition.

Recommendation: My newest food obsession here in San Antonio is a Filipino/Puerto Rican food truck named, Are’cebu! Make sure to try their mofongo and their adobaos. Add some chicken chicharron if you’re really hungry!

Hey Friends! My name is Gabby. I was born and raised in beautiful San Antonio Texas! One of the many things I love about our city is the amazing humans that make SA special with their incredible food, art, culture, and kindness.

Hola San Antonio! My name is Eva Rivera! I was born in Pharr, Texas, so yes, I am a valley girl! I have lived here in San Antonio for six years now, and I loved it so much that I decided to stay. One of my favorite things about the city is that there is always something to do + eat!

Recommendation: My most recommended spots for people to try are Medina River Coffee, Mr. Juicy, Taquitos El Jefe, Chilaquil, Alebrije Panadería, Mister Diablo Tacos, and Wayne’s Wings.

Hi San Antonio! My name is Germaine. My dad was in the army and I moved around quite a bit but have been in San Antonio for the last 12 years. My most favorite thing about the city is how it feels like a small town with big city opportunities.
