Ready for some free fall plans? The Outdoor Family Film series is in full swing and is coming to an end next month. We’re sad about it too. Started back in May, the initiative invites San Antonians out for a free movie under the stars with a night of entertainment and community.

Headed out to Mission Marquee Plaza? Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, snacks — and pets are welcomed too. Food trucks will be on site for food + drink purchases and screenings will begin shortly after dusk.

Here’s the lineup for the rest of the year:

  • Saturday, Oct. 7 — “The Nightmare Before Christmas”
  • Thursday, Oct. 19 — “Hocus Pocus”
  • Saturday, Oct. 21 — “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone”
  • Saturday, Nov. 4 — “The Little Mermaid (2023)”
  • Saturday, Nov. 18 — “The Polar Express”

Don’t miss: The farmers and artisan market before the show on Oct. 7, at 9 a.m.
