With so many things to do at Fiesta, there’s no doubt that your calendar is completely full and your wallet, well, a little light. So, we thought we would round up a list of seven free events throughout the week that way you have more money for the more important things (like flower crowns + chicken on the stick).

Fiesta de Los Reyes

Dates: Friday, April 19-Sunday, April 28
Time: 10 a.m.-midnight
Location: Historic Market Square, 514 W. Commerce St.

One of the largest free admission Fiesta events, it features daily + nightly live performances, local food vendors, and one of the largest mercados outside of Mexico.

Small Business Fiesta

Dates: Tuesday, April 23
Time: 1-5 p.m.
Location: The Rand Building, 101 E. Houston St.

Make your way over to the Rand building to explore the official tech-focused Fiesta event. Get an inside look at some of the newest local companies with the latest innovations, visions for SA’s future + more.

Marines at the Alamo

Dates: Wednesday, April 24
Time: 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Location: The Alamo, 300 Alamo Plaza

Get a chance to meet with Marines and view some of the latest military equipment from free-fall parachutes and combat diving, to the latest small arms + vehicles used today.

Senior Fiesta

Dates: Thursday, April 25
Time: 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Location: Wonderland of the Americas Mall, 4522 Fredericksburg Rd.

Grab your abuela or abuelo and head to the Wonderland of Americas for the only Senior-focused Fiesta event. Attendees can expect live musical performances, health + local craft vendors, and food.

Fiesta Jazz Festival

Dates: Friday, April 26-Saturday, April 27
Time: TBA
Location: University Center at St. Mary’s University, 1 Camino Santa Maria

Take a trip to St. Mary’s University Campus for this two-day event featuring live performances from jazz musicians from across the US and concerts put on by student performers ranging from middle school to college.

United Way Kids Festival

Dates: Saturday, April 27
Time: 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Location: Copernicus Community Center, 5003 Lord Rd.

This family-focused event will feature kid-friendly activities and entertainment focusing on the celebration + promotion of early childhood development.

Festival de Cascarones

Dates: Sunday, April 28
Time: 1-8 p.m.
Location: Texas A&M University-San Antonio, One University Way

Celebrate the finale of Fiesta at Texas A&M University-San Antonio’s campus. The free admission event includes live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and the annual Cascarones smash.
