Ford Parade Festival of Lights Returns to San Antonio, TX

Every year in the fall, you can watch 26-ft long boats filled with large illuminated lanterns float down the River Walk.

Ford Parade of Lights will kick off this weekend, Fri., Sept. 2-Sun., Sept. 4 and Fri., Sept. 9-Sun., Sept. 11 from 8-10 p.m.

The deets

  • The event is free and open to the public.
  • The starting point is the International Center. (203 S. St. Mary’s St.)
  • 10 floats will make two laps throughout the downtown area.
  • Guests are encouraged to watch the show by sitting at one of the restaurants offering patio views — reservations are encouraged.
