Dine local this weekend to support Hill Country flood relief efforts

Make donations or grab a bite where proceeds will benefit those impacted.

The pink El Camino sign is decorated with flowers, and a yellow brick path leads to the brightly colored interior of the park.

El Camino serves as a drop-off site this month for donations to help flood relief efforts, survivors and first responders.

“Look for the helpers,” Mr. Rogers once said. Today — as San Antonio businesses band together to support rescue efforts, first responders and families of victims of the tragic Hill Country floods over the weekend — it’s more important than ever.

We’re grateful that local bars and restaurants are offering a wide range of options so you can dine this weekend and support flood relief efforts.

El Camino, 1009 Avenue B
Make a stop at this River North food truck park to drop off supply donations like diapers and wipes, trash bags and hygiene items. They’ll be delivered weekly to Kerrville’s Salvation Army Relief team.

Shiro Japanese Bistro, 107 W. Jones Avenue
Chef Grey Hwang has announced all proceeds from sales of the Hill Country Relief Roll, and proceeds from the weekly treat at Yozora Japanese Kissa Restaurant will be donated to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund.

Lost Bar and Grill, 12730 NW Military Highway
This north side spot will be donating $1 for every $10 spent at the restaurant through Sunday, July 13 to Hill Country flood relief efforts. The biz is also accepting donations of pet food, bottled water and non-perishables.

Club Sirius, 228 Losoya Street
Downtown San Antonio bar Club Sirius has unveiled its new Heart of Texas shot. All proceeds from its sale will go to the Kerr County Flood Relief fund.

Bud Jones, 1440 S.W. Military Drive
Grab some fried pickles and all-you-can-eat fish at South San Antonio seafood restaurant Bud Jones, where 10% of all sales through the end of the week will be donated to flood relief efforts.

Tiff’s Treats, locations vary
Craving dessert? Order a sweet treat online from Tiff’s Treats and use code TEXAS anytime between now and Monday, July 14 — the business is donating 100% of proceeds from your order to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund.
