🌱 Gardopia Gardens, 619 N. New Braunfels Ave.
This nonprofit was founded in 2015 to address health disparities in a high-crime corridor on the near-Eastside of San Antonio. Gardopia offers several programs, including garden-based learning, a spring garden competition, and a seasonal farmers market.

🌱 Garcia Street Urban Farm, 218 Garcia St.
This 4.1-acre farm is one of the only housing authority, community, and higher education-led urban farming + food production initiatives in the nation. The garden is managed by William R. Sinkin Eco Centro at San Antonio College and aims to create opportunities for community volunteerism, fresh produce, and education.

🌱 Mahncke Park Community Garden, 330 Funston Pl.
A nonprofit garden that was founded in 2016. MPCG’s goals are to provide a space for Mahncke Park residents with a space to grow produce + establish community-driven events.

🌱 Beacon Hill Community Garden, 1144 W. Gramercy Pl.
The Beacon Hill Neighborhood Association founded this community garden in 2008 with a grant from the Green Spaces Alliance. The garden is a setting for neighborhood recreation, social gatherings, and education.Check out their monthly work days.

🌱 Palo Alto Community Garden, 1400 W. Villaret Blvd.
The Palo Alto Community Garden opened in October of 2019 as a space to grow food, combat poverty + address obesity in the historically underserved Southside community.
