What is Santikos?

Santikos Entertainment is a locally and privately owned theater chain for over 100 years — started by Louis Santikos in 1911 — and is best known for the movie-going experience. The chain is also known for its charitable foundation and being an active member in the community.

What’s the deal?

Santikos Entertainment will acquire The Grand Theaters and AmStar Cinemas from VSS-Southern Theaters. The chain will jump from 10 locations to 27 spanning across Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina and North Carolina.
