There are now more options than ever, which can be overwhelming for families. Local nonprofit organization San Antonio Charter Moms is bringing back its School Discovery Day to help families navigate just that.
November is the time of year when the open enrollment process starts for many public charter schools and schools of choice.
School Discovery Day serves as an education fair, inviting families to meet local schools and learn about the application process.
The next event is this Saturday, Nov. 12 at 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at O.P. Schnabel Park and is free to the public.
Saturday’s event will feature live DJ performances with The AM Project, animal show-and-tell with Once in a Wild, raffle prizes, and more.
