DreamWeek is almost here. The citywide summit builds on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., inspiring civic engagement to embrace ideas and dreams.
The annual summit kicks off on Friday, Jan. 12 with a breakfast at The Briscoe, and runs through Sunday, Jan. 29. Don’t miss out on the 200+ events scheduled over the two week period.
Here’s what you need to know:
- This year’s theme is The Compassion Drive — it’s what makes our city unique.
- The MLK March and Celebration, the largest of its kind in the US, is the highlight of DreamWeek.
- Events will take place across the city and can take a variety of forms including symposiums, panel discussions + debates, film screenings, concerts, and art exhibits.
Other highlights include a DreamStage at the Pearl, A Dream Week Special: Silent Disco with Elite Couture Boutique, and learn about the culture, food, and history of our local communities at Colors of San Antonio.
