Do you have summer travel plans? VIA Metropolitan Transit takes the stress out of driving to the airport with its new Park and Airport service. Dad’s who wake their family up six hours before their flight, this is for you.

The service allows travelers to park their vehicle overnight for free at its Stone Oak station at the intersection of U.S. 281 and Stone Oak Parkway on the third floor. Express service fare is on route seven — to get to San Antonio International Airport (SAT) — and costs $2.60 each way.

Know before you go:

  • Pay using VIA goMobile+ app or cash
  • Bus service runs every 30 minutes
  • Non-stop express service takes 15-20 minutes to get to SAT
  • Bus service runs Monday through Friday, from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • There are four electric charging stations on site

Happy travels y’all.
