Check out a special panel at The Briscoe Western Art Museum

Did you know that you can travel the West with the whole family at the Briscoe Western Art Museum?

Through Mon., Sept. 5, visitors are invited to check out The Sons of Charlie Russell: Cowboy Artists of America, the museum’s summer exhibition.

Tour the works from 17 public and private collections showcasing the forefathers of Western art; this will be the first and only time these works will be viewed together. Best of all, the museum’s accompanying programming + events are also included with admission.

One event the museum is currently gearing up for is a special presentation + panel this Sat., Aug. 27 to discuss the importance of maintaining the traditions of Western art — check out The Lessons of Our Fathers: How Western Art Stays Relevant (RSVP encouraged).

Want to visit the museum for free? SATX residents can enjoy free admission to the museum every first Sunday of the month for “Locals Days.” Don’t forget to check out even more admission deals.
