This Sunday is Mother’s Day, and while we shared a gift guide earlier this week, we thought we would make it extra special with five places to brunch with mom this weekend.

🌷 The Good Kind Southtown, 127 S. St. Mary’s St.

Hours: Sun., 1 p.m.-3 p.m.

Reservation: You can purchase adult + children tickets for this buffet-style brunch.

Try this: Tequila lime bread pudding for a delicious dessert.

Mom perk: Enjoy live music by The After Hours Jazz Assembly throughout the event.

🌷 Stixs & Stone, 5718 B. Wurzbach Rd.

Hours: Sun.,10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Reservation: Call to make reservations + accept walk-ins

Try this: Big Red & Barbacoa Taco Flight — housemade Big Red corn tortilla + Big Red jam, queso fresco, pickled watermelon rind, house pesto, and chile de arbol salsa.

Mom perk: Mom can sip on free mimosas until sellout and get a free Polaroid picture of your family.

Hours: Sat., + Sun., 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Reservation: Make a reservation online + walk-in availability

Try this: Beet hummus and egg toasts — roasted beet hummus, two over-easy eggs, arugula + roasted tomatoes, goat cheese, and toasted rye.

Mom perk: Treat mom with a refreshing cold brew cocktail that is out of this world.

🌷 Project Pollo, multiple locations

Hours: Sun., 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Reservation: Walk-in only

Try this: The Deluxe — classic vegan chicken with their signature birdy sauce, pickle, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and smoked gouda cheese.

Mom perk: Each SATX location will be handing out flowers to moms who brunch at the restaurant.

Reservation: Walk-in only

Try this: Chilaquiles — tostaditas, black beans, Oaxaca cheese, sunny-side up egg + all the works.

Mom perk: There will be a local vendor selling flower bouquets + crowns for anyone who wants to spoil mom.
