Business leaders set to speak at St. Mary’s University

Starting Tues., Oct. 11, the university will draw together business and civic leaders to discuss the economy + navigating the COVID-19 pandemic.

The annual Business Week Experience event — formerly known as Business Week — returns to St. Mary’s University next week, bringing with it a few notable speakers and alumni to its campus.

Planned for the event are in-person keynote lectures, moderated panels, and workshops surrounding this year’s theme, Vocations and Careers: Self-Reflections from Business Leaders in Pursuit of Meaning and Purpose.

Here’s a sneak peek of Business Week Experience events open to the public.

John Quiñones | Tues., Oct. 11 | 9:45-11 a.m. | The journalist, broadcaster, and host will speak on the topic “From ABC News to What Would You Do? — A Journey of Finding Meaning and Purpose in my Career.”

Jim Perschbach | Wed., Oct. 12 | 9:20-10:35 a.m. | The president and CEO of Port San Antonio will discuss “Tech Port: Connection San Antonio with a World of Opportunities.”

Alicia Cordoba | Thurs., Oct. 13 | 9:45-11 a.m. | The president of Aquinas College will discuss “Faith’s Impact on Meaning and Purpose at Work: A President’s Perspective.”
