Let’s start with the real life Colossal Titan. San Antonio-based muralist Colton Valentine collaborated with content creator Tyler Oliveira to build a 35-ft-tall statue depicting a character from the hit anime series Attack on Titan. While the Titan was never meant for public display, you can watch the entire building process on Tyler’s YouTube channel.

Finding out that a new Selena album was in the works threw us all for a loop, but we were elated nonetheless. Three decades after the singer’s death, it was announced that a collection of unreleased music was coming to the public in April. The album will feature a song recorded by Selena when she was 13, digitally aged by her brother, A.B. Quintanilla. Her sister Suzette is designing artwork for the album. 🎶

Oh, and we can’t forget about Strawberry Cheesecake Beer. Yes, you heard that right. This might be one of the most unique beers to come from Weathered Souls Brewing Co. The brewer is known for its playful + tasty limited-time sips. Head on over to 606 Embassy Oaks Ste. 500 and see what new concoction is brewing.

From the astonishing to the downright impressive, it’s nice to look back at all the interesting news in our city. But it’s nice to take a break every now and then to just have a good laugh.
