Who would of thought San Antonians loved their wine? After an overwhelming response from our Instagram followers, we reviewed your feedback and went back to the drawing board. We rounded up five additional places to wine with your friends in the Alamo City.

The Board Couple, 2218 N. Zarzamora

Did you know this charcuterie business, founded by Monica Nino and Bryan Gonzales, also serves wine? Stop by for a glass or split a bottle with food off its cafe menu. You can even buy a bottle to take home.

This boutique in the heart of San Antonio specializes in Mexican wines. Tasting are offered Wednesday through Sunday for $35. Find something you like? Customers can take home a bottle to enjoy.

Located inside the Lavaca neighborhood near Southtown, grab a cheese plate and a bottle of wine while checking out the colorful decor + artwork on its walls. Hanging out with a non-wine drinker? The bar also has a cocktail menu.

Fun fact: Hands Down hosts vendor pop-up markets throughout the year.

You can’t miss this colorful building on the Saint Mary’s Strip. Step inside and grab wine by the glass or by the bottle. They also serve light bites and host a variety of food pop-ups throughout the year.

Pro tip: Swing by Wednesdays for $1 oyster night from 5 p.m. to sell out.

Sip Wine Garden Cibolo, 232 Brite Rd. #125

Just a short drive north on I-35, this wine bar is a great place to unwind. Customers can enjoy live music on Fridays, four types of wine flights, exclusive bottle service, and a variety of wine by the glass.
