Agarita, a San Antonio nonprofit music group, has a new headquarters located in Southtown at 724 S. Alamo #2. This marks the first time the group will have a base of operations, opening up new opportunities for groups + communities to enjoy free music programming. It’s music to our ears, so let’s step inside.
The Agarita Loft
Visually, the loft is complimented by colorful, modern paintings and local artwork curated by The McNay’s Head of Development, Katy Silva León. Interested in seeing + purchasing the art? Private appointments can be made to Katy Silva León by calling or texting at 909-518-2245.
Music for all
The Agarita ensemble consists of four musicians:
- Daniel Anastasio (piano) - The Artistic Director for the organization.
- Marisa Bushman (viola) - The group’s Chief Financial Officer.
- Ignacio Gallego (cello) - The Director of Education + Graphic Design of the ensemble.
- Sarah Silver Manzke (violin) - Executive Director of Agarita and New York native.
It’s mission is to activate the San Antonio music community through free concerts, education, music collaborations, and other local engagements.
